Safety Considerations

  • Always wear safety glasses/goggles, gloves and a chemical resistant apron/coat when working with Seacast™.
  • Long sleeves and pants guard against fiberglass. Skin in contact with fiberglass will cause severe itching, wash exposed skin with soap and water.
  • Get medical attention if a severe irritation develops.
  • Remove contaminated clothing, shoes and thoroughly clean before reuse.
  • If Seacast comes in contact with eyes IMMEDIATELY flush with water for 15 minutes, then seek prompt medical attention.
  • DO NOT wear contact lenses while working with this material.
  • Make sure there is ample ventilation while working with Seacast™! If an irritation develops get fresh air IMMEDIATELY!
  • DO NOT EAT Seacast™! If ingested DO NOT induce vomiting and seek medical attention immediately!
  • All catalysts can be dangerous - follow all safety regulations and standards for oxidizers.
  • DO NOT SMOKE while using Seacast™! Keep all sources of ignition at safe distances.
